First Steps to Seeing – First welcome into the world: from a University library in Australia!

Yesterday First Steps to Seeing had its very first welcome into the world from a student in Brisbane, Australia! When searching for a quote from a different book on the Queensland University of Technology’s library website, First Steps to Seeing popped onto the screen as an ‘other relevant title’, which led him to check out the book online.

After reading some of the book and doing the sense-based attention exercise in the introduction the student realised that First Steps to Seeing resonated with this thoughts, ideas and studies, and so decided to send me an email entitled ‘How I Came Across Your Book’, along with the screenshot from his University library catalogue, showing First Steps to Seeing – which you can see above.

This was such a beautiful way for me to acknowledge the long-awaited publication of the book, and was a great way for me to see how the book is now gaining a life of its own in the world….thousands of miles away from me!!

First copy of ‘First Steps to Seeing’ is now in my hands!!!

First copy of book!

The first copy of my new book First Steps to Seeing: A Path Towards Living Attentively is now in my hands!! And it feels so good!

I am looking forward to seeing the book take on a life of its own around the world, but I feel that it needs a little help to get it on its way.

My financial marketing budget for this book is zero, so I am very much relying on the currency of my personal connections to spread word of the book around the globe! And this is where you come in. 🙂
I would very much appreciate your help in spreading news of the book! This could include:
– Sharing news of the book to friends, family, colleagues, networks and groups of lovely like-minded to people, or to anyone that you feel may be interested!

I have attached below a PDF with an image and summary of the book to be shared. I have also attached part of the actual book in PDF format, which includes; contents, acknowledgments, preface and the introduction. Feel free to read this excerpt yourselves and also to share as you see fit.
I also am very open to writing articles that link to the book, to doing interviews, and book readings (also via Skype) etc. I have a vague plan to do a bit of world trip at the end of the year, which would include Hong Kong, possibly Bali, Australia and New Zealand.
And of course, feel free to buy the book yourselves, either as an e-book or in paperback.
